Top 10 Air Supply Songs You Need to Put On Rotation

If you think you don’t know many of Air Supply’s songs…think again! As we sat to compile and countdown the best 10 songs of Air Supply, we surprised ourselves by singing and humming to every song.
The Australian duo Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock came together in 1975 and produced hit after hit. In the early 80s they garnered eight Top 10 hits in America and achieved success worldwide.
Let the countdown begin!
10. The Power of Love
The Australian duo covered this iconic song for their album in 1985. If you feel like this song is familiar, fear not! You’re right. The original version was by Jennifer Rush and has since been covered by a number of famous artists.
9.Yours Truly
Albeit being on the slightly sappy side, this song is a definite winner of telling that special person, you’re committed. Talk about getting straight to the point.
8. The One That You Love
Talk about seizing the moment! Who wouldn’t want the chance at a life time of happiness with their soul mate? With this song, Air Supply jumps right to it. Shot straight to the number 1 spot in July 1981.
7. Goodbye
Well, goodbyes are never easy. The song kicks off with the iconic piano keys setting the mood. The pain is evident but so relatable yet bittersweet. From Air Supply’s 12thalbum released in 1993 called The Vanishing Race. Achieved the number 1 spot in several Asian countries.
6. Every Woman In The World
You know, we’re always saying yes to all songs that is highlights women. This song highlights the drive females had (back in the 80s) to find their place in this world, be treated equally and find love. Back in the day, women independence wasn’t so popular but we gotta hand it to this Aussie duo for supporting all the ladies.
5. Without You
The amount of sadness and pain in this song is clear cut. Be prepared to walk down some painful memories. Sometimes we just need to cry (maybe alone with a tub of Ben & Jerry’s and reminisce the old times). This song would be a perfect choice.
4. Two Less Lonely People
Settling at number 38 on theBillboard Chartson January 8, 1983. One of their more upbeat songs that highlights the union of two (lonely) people. Nothing we like more than something that is easy to listen to and ends happily! And we do agree, the world is a more happy place when people are not lonely.
3. Even The Nights AreBetter
When you’re in a relationship, everything is just better! You enjoy doing everything together and what was once mundane when you were alone is completely different now. As Air Supply has clearly put in the title of this song, even a boring dark night is better with the company of the one you are madly in love with.
2. All Out of Love
At one point if our lives, we feel that great loss over a special person. Feeling like you can’t function at all and basically you feel incomplete. “All Out of Love” came in at number 2 on the Billboard Charts on September 13, 1980. This song is one of the most popular Air Supply song ever. We found ourselves singing to EVERY word and we didn’t even know we knew the lyrics!
1. Making Love Out of Nothing at All
Possibly one of the most romantic love songs created, this tops our list as we sing out hearts out. “Making love out of nothing at all…out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all!” It’s just a perfect song showing how one can love another person so deeply. And of course one of the songs that is heavy on the karaoke rotation as we so love here in Asia.
